The European Union has announced an agreement in principle with Ukraine to facilitate trade, particularly in the agricultural sector. The agreement, which includes quotas for sensitive products such as eggs and wheat, will allow Ukraine to export its products, but only if they meet EU standards. A safeguard mechanism will also be activated to respond to possible disruptions. The initiative aims to support Ukrainian trade while protecting the interests of European farmers.
