Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Israel is expanding its illegal actions in Syria, using the Druze as a pretext. He characterized Israel as a "terrorist state" and warned that its aggression could lead to the burning of the entire region. Erdogan discussed with the Syrian interim president the withdrawal of troops from the Suwayda area, where violent clashes have left more than 500 dead. He stressed that Turkey would not accept the disintegration of Syria.
