South Korea's early elections, scheduled for Tuesday, are marked by public dissatisfaction with former president Yoon Suk Yeol, who was ousted after the imposition of martial law. Lee Jae-myung, the liberal candidate, leads in the polls with 46-49%, while Kim Moon Soo, his main conservative rival, is at 35-37%. The new president will have to tackle deep national division and foreign issues, including relations with North Korea and US trade policy.
