Hotels are required to extend the stays of guests who cannot leave the country without asking them to vacate their rooms or pay immediate additional costs. The Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai has issued official directives to ensure the continuity of accommodation, while Abu Dhabi has announced that it will cover the accommodation costs for stranded tourists. Currently, the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports 1,066 Romanian citizens in Gulf states affected by the conflict, estimating that several hundred are in the United Arab Emirates. Authorities emphasize the importance of support and assistance for visitors in these difficult circumstances.
