On the night from Thursday to Friday, an explosion caused by a drone occurred in the city of Tver, injuring at least seven people. The blast severely damaged the lower floors of a residential building, and images from the area show thick smoke and destroyed facades. The independent Russian channel Astra reported that nearby buildings, as well as parked cars, were also damaged. The interim governor of the region, Vitali Korolev, confirmed that all the injured were transported to the hospital and that emergency teams are active at the scene. The evacuation of residents is underway, and authorities are preparing temporary shelters for those affected. The incident comes amid an intensification of Russian airstrikes on Ukraine and an increase in drone attacks by Ukraine inside Russia. Ukraine has not commented on the incident, and the information has not been verified.
