This represents the largest seizure in DOJ history. The "pig butchering" method involves the psychological manipulation of victims through online conversations, gaining their trust before deceiving them. The main suspect, Chen Zhi, also known as Vincent, is accused of leading the fraudulent network but is still at large. Zhi is the founder of Prince Holding Group, a conglomerate involved in online financial fraud, including forced labor.
