A massive fire at a shopping center in Al-Kut has killed or injured more than 60 people and the cause remains unknown.

The fire broke out Wednesday night at Hyper Mall, just five days after it opened, and the cause remains unknown. Governor Mohammed al-Miyahi said ambulances continued to transport victims until dawn. Video footage shows huge flames engulfing the five-story building, and authorities have filed a lawsuit against the mall's owner.
