The Danish government proposes a total ban on mobile phones in schools and high schools, including during breaks, amid declining student results in PISA tests. Denmark scored 478 points, below the European average of 482, and Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen believes that excessive time spent in front of screens could contribute to the decline in academic performance.
