Daniel Siad, a 69-year-old model recruiter, was found dead in his home near Paris, and French prosecutors have opened an investigation to determine the cause of death. Siad was known for his connections to Jeffrey Epstein and was being investigated in France for his alleged involvement in recruiting women who became victims of human trafficking and sexual abuse. There were several complaints against him, including allegations of rape, but he had not been interviewed by investigators. In 2014, Siad sent a message to Epstein, comparing the recruitment activity to fishing. The Epstein case continues to generate investigations, and Siad's name appears in over 1,000 documents related to this case. French authorities have also arrested other accomplices of Epstein, and investigations are ongoing.
