A cyber attack severely affected the operations of the French Post and the banks La Banque Postale and Caisse d’épargne, disrupting the services of receiving and distributing packages before Christmas. The Minister of Economy, Roland Lescure, stated that the attack has decreased in intensity but continues to affect online banking services. La Poste confirmed that the attack, of the "denial of service" type, caused difficulties in accessing online services, but the distribution of packages has resumed.
Although online banking operations have resumed, users have encountered access issues. The group assured that sensitive data has not been compromised, and the priority remains timely delivery of packages for the holidays.
