Chilean company Codelco confirmed on Saturday the discovery of the body of one of five miners trapped underground after an earthquake-caused collapse at the El Teniente mine. This is the second victim of the incident, after another person was declared dead on the day of the accident. Mine director Andres Music said rescue operations are continuing cautiously, although the pace is slowing. By that time, crews had managed to clear part of the blocked galleries, but contact with the other four miners had not been established.
