According to AP statistics, China's global trade surplus increased by 20% in 2025, reaching 1.190 trillion dollars, with exports of 3.770 trillion and imports of 2.580 trillion. In December, exports rose by 6.6% compared to the same month of the previous year, exceeding economists' estimates, while imports advanced by 5.7%. Analysts, such as Jacqueline Rong from BNP Paribas, predict that exports will continue to support China's economy until 2026, despite trade tensions. Although exports to the US have decreased due to the trade war, China has compensated by delivering to other markets. However, this performance has raised concerns among other countries, and the head of the IMF has urged China to correct economic imbalances and stimulate domestic demand.
