Measures announced by China's Ministry of Commerce include pledging to strengthen financial support to firms, expanding exports of agricultural products, encouraging financial institutions to offer more products to help firms improve their foreign exchange risk management. China will also support imports of basic equipment and energy products. The measures come amid fears that US tariffs could significantly hurt Chinese exports.
