Wang Yi, a Chinese official, stated that China wishes to collaborate with Germany to prepare the next stage of high-level exchanges and to strengthen cooperation in various sectors. This aims to elevate the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Germany to a new level. Wang recently met with his German counterpart, Johann Wadephul, where he emphasized that economic and trade cooperation represents the 'cornerstone' of bilateral relations. During the same meeting, which was also attended by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, Wang sought to present China as a reliable partner for the European Union, highlighting the importance of international collaboration.
