Among the divergences is the demand for Hamas to surrender its weapons and the timeline for the withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza. Both parties have expressed the willingness to release prisoners and hostages, and the plan provides for the release of approximately 20 hostages from Gaza in exchange for Palestinian prisoners. Turkey, along with the USA, Qatar, and Egypt, is mediating these discussions.
