The Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD reported a significant increase in sales in the United Kingdom, with 11,271 units sold in September, representing an annual growth of 880%. This makes the United Kingdom BYD's largest market outside of China, with a market share of 2.2%. Popular models, such as the BYD Dolphin, are more affordable than those from Tesla. The company recently opened a battery factory in the United Kingdom, contributing to its success in the market.
