Vice President Dan Gillian announced the start of the recruitment process for permanent replacement employees for production positions, with a job fair planned. Striking workers who will be replaced will not have the guarantee of regaining their job, while the union is demanding wages that reflect the cost of living, whereas Boeing is offering an average wage increase of 40%.
