In Chisinau, an electoral bloc made up of the Party of Communists and three other parties has been announced for the September 28 parliamentary elections after meetings with Russian officials. The bloc, which includes PCRM, PSRM, 'Heart of Moldova' and 'Future of Moldova', aims to absorb pro-Russian voters after another pro-Kremlin bloc was rejected by the electoral commission. The leaders of this new bloc, Igor Dodon and Irina Vlah, criticize the current government and promise to protect Moldovan identity and balanced relations with Russia. The elections are decisive for Moldova's future, with the potential to distance it from Russian influence or turn it into a Kremlin satellite.
