Former American President Bill Clinton was interviewed by a Congressional committee regarding a viral photograph in which he appears in a jacuzzi, published in documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. The hearings, conducted behind closed doors, took place before a committee dominated by Republicans and also included the testimony of Hillary Clinton. Clinton stated that the photograph was likely taken in a hotel in Brunei, after a long trip in Asia for his AIDS fighting program. He also mentioned that Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were present on that trip. Another photograph from the same hotel shows Clinton in a pool with Maxwell and another woman, whose identity he does not remember. Both Clinton and Donald Trump had ties to Epstein, but they claim to have severed their relationships with him before his death in 2019 and that they had no knowledge of his crimes. The release of the documents led to the involvement of many personalities in the Epstein scandal, generating investigations and resignations.
