German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez stated that they wish to reach a solution for the European FCAS project by the end of 2025. The project, which aims to develop fighter jets, is facing difficulties due to tensions between Dassault and Airbus. Sanchez emphasized that Spain's interest in this project is genuine, but it depends on the conditions set by the three involved countries.
