Munich magistrates have decided to maintain monitoring of the AfD party in Bavaria on the basis of its anti-constitutional orientation.

The Munich court decision allows Germany's secret services to intercept communications between AfD members and use undercover agents to monitor the party. The party has been excluded from the Identity and Democracy group in the EP and rejected the entry of SOS Romania in negotiations to form a new group.
