The businessman and populist leader, Babiš, returns to power in the Czech Republic, obtaining 34.55% of the votes with his party ANO. The center-right alliance SPOLU received 23.34%. Babiš, known for his skepticism towards the European Union and support for Russia, may form a minority cabinet with the support of far-right parties. It remains to be seen how he will collaborate with the liberal president, Petr Pavel, who supports Ukraine in the conflict with Russia.
