Prime Minister Anthony Albanese emphasized that a two-state solution was essential to end the violence in the Middle East. Israel, under international pressure, said recognizing a Palestinian state would be a reward for terrorism. New Zealand is also considering a similar measure, reflecting growing support for Palestinian self-determination.
