Rebecca Cheptegei was buried with military honors in Uganda shortly after she was assaulted by her partner. The athlete died at the age of 33 from burns. Her attacker, Dickson Ndiema Marangach, also died of his injuries. The event also sparked outrage amid a spate of killings of athletes in Kenya.
