Allianz Life has announced that hackers stole customers' and employees' personal information following a July 16, 2025 cyber attack.

The cyber attack, discovered on July 17, 2025, targeted a cloud-based CRM system used by Allianz Life. The hackers obtained personal data of most customers, financial professionals, and select employees through social engineering. Allianz Life informed the FBI and ensured that the internal network was not compromised. The company currently has about 1.4 million customers in the US, but did not provide details on the exact number of people affected.
