A group of robbers attempted to rob a bank in Naples and took several employees and customers hostage.

In Naples, a state of alert was instituted after a group of robbers attempted to rob a bank but barricaded themselves inside the building. The attackers, who entered armed, took hostages including both employees and clients. Witnesses observed a masked individual arriving on a motorcycle, who entered the bank, and later the robbers closed the doors. The law enforcement forces intervened quickly, isolating the area to prevent an escalation of the situation.
