The transition to daylight saving time, scheduled for the night of March 28 to 29, can increase the risks of stroke and heart attack, experts warn. They emphasize that lack of sleep generates cardiac stress and irritability, with teenagers being the most affected, already having an insufficient sleep schedule. Adapting to the new time takes about three weeks, and the most dangerous period is the first week. Doctors recommend a prior training, gradually reducing sleep time by 5-10 minutes a day, avoiding coffee and energy drinks after lunch, and exposing oneself to sunlight in the morning. Additionally, the obsession with "perfect sleep" through technological monitoring can have negative effects on sleep quality. Specialists suggest addressing sleep issues with the help of doctors, not just through apps or devices.
