Researchers at the University of Bradford are developing a blood test that could be faster and more effective than current genetic tests.

The test analyzes the levels of two proteins in the blood and has shown a link between these levels and patient outcomes. The pilot study showed that 98% of patients with low protein levels did not develop secondary breast cancer. The test could be ready for approval in two to three years.
