With a dedicated career, Brătucu was trained at the Surgical Clinic of the Caritas Clinical Hospital in Bucharest, where he rose to the rank of university professor. Since 1992, he has led the General Surgery Clinic of the Caritas Clinical Hospital and was the Head of the General Surgery Clinic at the 'Prof. Dr. Alexandru Trestioreanu' Oncology Institute. Throughout his career, he was a primary physician, a professor at UMF 'Carol Davila', a vice-dean, and a member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Romania, making essential contributions to the development of general and oncological surgery in the country.
