At an event dedicated to endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain, participants had the opportunity to learn from specialized doctors about the mechanisms of these conditions and modern options for diagnosis and treatment. Approximately 1 in 10 women experience chronic pelvic pain, often misdiagnosed. Dr. Gabriel Mitroi, coordinator of the Bucharest Endometriosis Center, emphasized the importance of providing accurate information to patients.
The event included two thematic panels: one on neuropelveology, which addresses pelvic pain through an integrated approach, and another on endometriosis, a chronic inflammatory condition that affects many women and is a major cause of infertility. MedLife has performed over 650 surgical interventions for endometriosis in 2025, demonstrating its commitment to improving the quality of life for patients.
The initiative is part of MedLife's efforts to raise awareness about endometriosis and its impact.
