The Ministry of Health informed on Friday that, this week, 49 additional acts were signed for the continuation of investments in health through the National Recovery and Resilience Program (PNRR).


These investments target several medical units, including the Emergency Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases and Transplant Târgu Mureș, which will benefit from a new Cardiovascular Surgical Center.

Other hospitals, such as the Timișoara Municipal Emergency Clinical Hospital and the Târgu Mureș County Emergency Clinical Hospital, will develop and modernize intensive care units for newborns.

Additionally, the Vâlcea County Emergency Hospital will rehabilitate and expand the operating room, while UAT Rast in Dolj County will develop an Integrated Community Center.

In the field of digital transformation, hospitals such as the Bucharest Emergency University Hospital and the "Prof. Dr. Alexandru Trestioreanu" Oncology Institute will benefit from investments to improve medical services.
