Two ministers from USR and one from PSD are at the top of the visibility ranking of government members, in the last week, according to data provided by NewsVibe, an AI media and social media monitoring platform. The analysis tracks the online visibility level of ministers, excluding Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, whose consistently higher presence in volume would distort the comparison with other government members. The evaluation includes both the quantity and impact of mentions, as well as the central dynamics that attracted public attention and the predominant tone of discussions in the digital environment.
Minister Oana Țoiu (USR) dominates the top of government members present in online conversation in recent days. The meeting that the Minister of Foreign Affairs had in Washington with the head of American diplomacy, Marco Rubio, ensured her visibility and a consistent volume of mentions. Additionally, her presence at the Romania–Austria match in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, alongside her Austrian counterpart, amplified public and media interest, contributing to the increase in her online visibility.
In second place in the ranking, distanced from the USR representative, is Bogdan Ivan (PSD). The Minister of Energy maintains his position held last week, through his public interventions on topics such as preparing gas storage for winter, the high price of electricity, and the risk of a possible blackout. These topics, with a direct impact on the population and the economy, generated visibility and kept the minister's name in the online conversation.
The third position is held by Minister Radu Miruță (USR), who was propelled in the ranking by the simple motion submitted by AUR against him. The motion was rejected in the Senate, but the debates and public reactions surrounding it generated mentions and amplified the visibility of the government representative.
The holder of the Transport portfolio, Ciprian Șerban (PSD), records the fewest mentions, placing him in the last position in the top of government members present in online conversation during the period of October 8-14.
In comparison, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan (who is not included in the analysis) recorded over 3,600 mentions, just below the summed values of all other government members.

TRENDS IN MINISTERS' VISIBILITY. All ministers present at the top of the ranking record increases in mentions compared to the previous week. It is particularly noteworthy, however, Radu Miruță, who is on a sharply upward trend (over 300%), ensured by the simple motion against him, which created a negative context for mentions. Oana Țoiu also has a consistent increase in visibility (over 100%), on a rather positive background of conversations.
A significant increase in mentions is also recorded for the name of Deputy Prime Minister Tánczos Barna (UDMR) – a trend ensured primarily by his meeting, alongside Prime Minister Bolojan, with Nadia Comăneci, for a discussion related to preparations for the celebration, in 2026, of "Nadia Comăneci Year".
PUBLIC TONE BAROMETER. The sentiment analysis confirms the predominantly negative context in which the name of Minister Radu Miruță appears. Minister Florin Barbu (PSD) is also mentioned in a negative context created, as in the case of his USR colleague, by a simple motion submitted by AUR.
A negative tone in discussions about ministers also existed in connection with AUR, USR, or Russia.
Online debates with a positive tone place ministers Alexandru Rogobete (PSD) – who announced inspections at private clinics across the country (after the death of a young woman in Constanța), as well as the presence of the flu vaccine in most pharmacies – and Diana Buzoianu (USR), who attracted attention through the legislative initiative that provides for prison sentences for forcing marriages or cohabitations, but also through her position regarding environmental projects in PNRR and the use of the RO-Alert system.
From a thematic perspective, favorable discussions were held about Nadia Comăneci or the USA.
The NewsVibe platform uses advanced artificial intelligence tools to assess the tone and direction of online conversations related to various topics and public figures. The present analysis tracked the overall mentions in the digital environment referring to members of the Romanian Government.

THE SEMANTIC NETWORK OF GOVERNMENTAL DEBATES. The semantic network analysis illustrates how ministers are represented and interconnected within online conversations. Based on mentions extracted from the main online sources in Romania, the NewsVibe platform highlights the relationships between the central themes of public debates and the political actors associated with them.
One of the main segments of the discussion has as its central node Romania, characterized by the highest volume of mentions and semantic connections. It includes as a key actor the name of Minister Bogdan Ivan and terms such as Europe and EU, which link internal conversations to European ones.
A thematic cluster reflecting foreign policy centers around Minister Oana Țoiu. In the context of the meeting in Washington and Romanian-American bilateral relations, she is associated with Marco Rubio and the USA.
The fiscal-budgetary domain is clearly highlighted and marked by the presence of Minister Alexandru Nazare (PNL), whose visibility is primarily supported by participation in the ECOFIN meeting in Luxembourg.
An important area of debate concerns the health sector, with a central node in this case represented by Minister Alexandru Rogobete. Discussions surrounding him reflect public interest in policies within the healthcare system.
Another cluster brings together ministers (Radu Miruță, Diana Buzoianu) and parties (USR, AUR, PSD), involved in political debates and controversies. The connections between them reflect the intensity of parliamentary discussions and the polarization of public discourse.
A compact and well-defined group, but more weakly connected to thematic conversations, is distinguished, in which Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stands out.
