The online public interest in Romania in the last 24 hours has been dominated by football matches from domestic and international competitions, the celebration of International Women's Day, as well as topics from entertainment, current affairs, and individual sports.

Attention has focused on domestic football, especially on the clash between Rapid Bucharest and Universitatea Craiova, a match that has been intensely analyzed in the sports press, in the context of the battle for playoff positions. Interest in the domestic competition was complemented by the match between Argeș Pitești and Unirea Slobozia and the duel between Oțelul and Hermannstadt.

International football generated a large volume of searches through derbies and stages from the major European leagues. The Milan – Inter derby in Serie A dominated discussions, alongside Genoa – Roma, Bologna – Verona, Fiorentina – Parma, and Lecce – Cremonese, while other championships brought to the forefront matches such as Benfica – Porto, Rangers – Celtic, Valencia – Alavés, Villarreal – Elche, Getafe – Real Betis, Leeds – Norwich, or Olympiacos – PAOK.

International Women's Day remained a major topic of interest, through searches related to messages and wishes for March 8, but also through references to phrases in other languages such as Women's Day, Happy Women's Day, or Internationaler Frauentag.

TV entertainment was dominated by searches about the show Survivor, with a focus on discussions about eliminations and the evolution of the contestants.

Individual sports attracted attention through the results of player Sorana Cîrstea in the WTA circuit and through interest in the start of the Formula 1 season with the Australian Grand Prix.

Domestic current affairs generated searches for the recent earthquake in Gorj reported by the Romanian press, as well as for the weather forecast for the coming days, while the international plan brought searches about Oslo and the evolution of oil prices on global markets.

In the geopolitical area, the name Mojtaba Khamenei also appears, mentioned in the context of discussions about the Iranian political scene.
