The public interest in Romania in the last 24 hours has focused on European football, the internal public agenda, tense international developments, and useful daily information such as the weather and access to live broadcasts.

The main wave of searches was generated by the Champions League quarter-finals: Real Madrid won again against Manchester City, PSG clearly defeated Chelsea, and Sporting dramatically overturned the duel with Bodø/Glimt. In the same flow, interest in the Champions League match schedule has entered, indicating that the public is already following the quarter-final setup.

A major interest was also generated by education, following the Mathematics test from the 2026 National Assessment simulation, held on Tuesday, March 17. Searches targeted both the subjects and solutions, as well as the context of organizing the testing after issues arose at the beginning of the simulation in some schools.

In the area of foreign news, attention shifted to the conflict in the Middle East, where the names of Ali Larijani and Joe Kent circulated intensively, in the context of the escalating conflict between Iran, Israel, and the USA.

On the domestic front, searches about the pension-salary accumulation and Ilie Bolojan show concern for the measures discussed around the reform of the public system, while the name Ilan Laufer has increased in searches following information about the sanction received after the accident at the pedestrian crossing.

The culture area and public personalities were complemented by the announcement of the lineup for Electric Castle 2026 and the constant interest in Nadia Comăneci, Ana Blandiana, and Dan Alexa.
