The world of sport continues to be marked by the Olympic Games in Paris, but also by spectacular developments in European and international football or significant transfers of top players. Against this dynamic backdrop, there have been many controversies and notable decisions influencing the current sporting landscape, from the recent disputes in gymnastics to the appointment of Mircea Lucescu as coach of the Romanian national football team.
