In Moldova and in the mountains, the snowfall will be constant, with a consistent layer of snow in the Southern Carpathians and the Curvature. In the rest of the country, rain will turn into sleet and snow, including in Transylvania and Dobrogea. On Christmas, the snowfall will decrease, and the weather will calm down on December 26.

The wind will intensify, with gusts of 45-50 km/h, and the snowfall could be blizzard-like in southern Moldova.
