Several environmental NGOs are asking the Ministry of Energy to extend the public consultation period for Romania's energy plan.

The NGOs Declic, Bankwatch, Greenpeace, WWF-Romania and 2Celsius criticize the fact that the draft has been put to public debate without properly announcing the deadline, considering that this demonstrates the ministry's lack of real interest in the opinion of civil society. They also call for a public debate.
