The powerful storm Pia will hit Europe with hurricane force around Christmas.

Storm Pia, also called "Zoltan" in Germany, will affect several European countries, including Romania. Meteorological administrations in several countries have already issued warnings, and Romania is expecting wind, sleet and snow, with a strong blizzard in the mountains.
