The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued an updated weather forecast for the period of April 20 - May 18, 2026. Meteorologists predict pleasant weather, with generally normal temperatures for this period. In the week of April 20-27, temperatures will be close to normal, but excessive rainfall is expected, especially in the intracarpathian regions. In the week of April 27 - May 4, a slight increase in temperatures is anticipated, especially in the western regions, but the rainfall regime will be deficient in the east and west. In the week of May 4-11, temperature values will remain normal, and precipitation will generally be in line with the average. In the last week of the forecast, May 11-18, temperatures will continue to be normal, with a slightly excessive rainfall regime in the northwest. This forecast suggests favorable conditions for the May 1st mini-holiday.
