LIVE The TVR debate between the candidates in the presidential race in May 2025

<p>The debate 'A President for Romania' will take place on April 29, 2025, at the Cotroceni Palace, and will be broadcast live on TVR and other major TV channels. Moderators Ramona Avramescu and Marian Voicu will lead discussions on topics relevant to society, including the relationship with the political class and national security strategy. Although all candidates in the race for the Cotroceni Palace have been invited, on Tuesday morning George Simion, the AUR candidate, announced that he will not participate in the debate. The event will be interpreted into sign language, ensuring accessibility for the hearing impaired.
