The education unions organized a protest at the Cotroceni Palace, between 12:00 and 13:30, to express their dissatisfaction with the budget measures that affect teachers' salaries and working conditions. Students from ANOSR are joining the protest, contesting the limitation of free transport and the reduction of scholarships. The protesters chant "Education, not cuts" and criticize the unfulfilled promises of President Nicușor Dan. Student representatives emphasize the impact of austerity measures on education, including the reduction of the scholarship fund and possible increases in fees. The protest is organized by the Federation of Free Trade Unions in Education and other trade union organizations, with an estimated participation of around 500 people. This action comes as a result of a series of previous protests, under the slogan "Poor school - uneducated country."
