The Pavăl brothers have announced the postponement of the reopening of the Waldhaus Flims Wellness Resort hotel complex for the winter season 2026-2027. This complex, located in Switzerland, was previously owned by Z Capital Partners, which closed it in the summer of 2023 due to financial issues, primarily due to rising energy costs.
The acquisition by the Pavăl brothers marks the second major investment in the international market, following the purchase of the Grand Hotel Gardone in Italy. Plans for reopening include investments in modernizing the infrastructure and technical systems to enhance guest comfort. Waldhaus Flims, built in 1877 and renovated in 2016, offers nearly 150 rooms, 6 restaurants, and bars, situated at an altitude of 1,100 meters in the Flims/Laax mountains.
