The Minister of Energy, Bogdan-Gruia Ivan, announced a bill to protect vulnerable customers from disconnection from electricity and to impose a maximum price of 1 leu per kilowatt for consumers with incomes up to 2,500-3,000 lei. Ivan emphasized the importance of this measure, warning that without intervention, Romanians could pay the highest energy prices in the world, affecting the competitiveness of companies. He is also working on solutions to reduce energy costs and improve production capacities in the country.
