The cross-border migration of the wealthiest families in the world reached an unprecedented level in 2025, according to consulting experts. The demand for relocation and citizenship services has increased against the backdrop of geopolitical tensions and rapid changes in economic policies.
A UBS report shows that 36% of interviewed billionaires have relocated at least once, and 9% are considering a move. Among those under 54 years old, the percentage rises to 44%. Henley & Partners confirms this trend, receiving inquiries from 218 nationalities, an increase of 28% compared to the previous year. The main factors contributing to this migration include geopolitical instability and the erosion of trust in political systems. For example, in the USA, 49% of citizens in the diaspora are considering renouncing their citizenship. Preferred destinations include the United Arab Emirates, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Monaco, and Singapore, each offering stability and tax advantages. Additionally, new poles of interest are emerging, such as Saudi Arabia and certain Caribbean countries, which offer attractive citizenship programs.
