Tesla's market share in Europe has dropped to 1.8% in 2025, down from 2.5% in 2024, and sales have recorded a decrease of 26.9%. In January of this year, Tesla registrations increased by 26% in Sweden and by 3% in Denmark, but performed poorly in Norway, where they fell by 88%, and in France, with a decrease of 42%. Other European countries, such as Spain and Italy, reported significant increases in registrations. In 2025, Tesla launched cheaper versions of its models, but failed to revitalize its sales due to increased competition, especially from the Chinese brand BYD. Additionally, Elon Musk's policies, including support for Donald Trump and comments about far-right parties, have generated negative reactions from consumers, affecting the company's image.
