The National Natural Gas Company Romgaz S.A. has announced a bond issuance worth 500 million euros, with a maturity of 6 years and a fixed annual interest rate. The bonds will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and, subsequently, on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. JP Morgan will coordinate the stabilization period, scheduled between October 28 and November 28, 2025, with the option to over-allocate securities to support the market price. The issuance is aimed at investors in Europe, excluding the USA, and is part of a larger program of 1.5 billion euros approved by Romgaz's shareholders.
The funds will be used for investments, including in the offshore Neptun Deep project, in partnership with OMV Petrom. Romgaz has an investment plan of over 1 billion euros, aimed at development and decarbonization by 2050. The CEO Răzvan Popescu mentioned that the timing of the issuance depends on market conditions.
