Romania will be represented at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2026 with the most substantial governmental delegation in the history of the conference, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The delegation will include the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Ţoiu, the Minister of Investments and European Projects, Dragoş Pîslaru, the Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, and the presidential advisor Radu Burnete. They will participate in the 56th annual meeting of the WEF, scheduled between January 19-23, at the invitation of the forum's president. The central theme of the 2026 edition will be promoting dialogue, addressing global challenges such as international cooperation, economic growth, and responsible innovation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes the importance of this participation for strengthening Romanian economic diplomacy.
