In the first three months of 2025, the volume of trade between Romania and Germany fell by 6.1%, according to AHK Romania. Germany's exports to Romania fell by 1.2%, while imports from Romania fell by 11.4%. This trend is influenced by weak economic dynamics in Germany and the economic situation in Europe. Sebastian Metz, director of AHK Romania, emphasizes the need to improve Romania's competitiveness through a stable fiscal framework and budgetary consolidation measures.
