Oil prices were up more than 1% on Monday, with Brent crude reaching $69.16 a barrel and WTI at $67.39, supported by strong market demand. OPEC+ announced a 548,000 barrels/day production increase for August, but actual growth remains modest. Trade and geopolitical tensions, including new tariffs announced by the US and attacks in Yemen, continue to affect the oil market.
