Automaker Renault reported free cash flow of just €47 million in the first half of 2025, prompting the company to revise its financial forecasts. The annual operating margin has been adjusted to 6.5% and the estimated free cash flow has been lowered to 1-1.5 billion euros. Weak demand in European markets and growing competition from China are affecting the company's performance. Renault has appointed an interim CEO, and cost-cutting measures will be prioritized in future strategy.
